Phillip = Graduating

I've known Phillip since he was very little. Our families have known each other for a long time. It was so fun to take his senior pictures because i've known him most of his life so i've seen him grow up. Of course the fact that we took his drum set outside for his senior pictures had nothing to do with it being fun ;-) Have i mentioned that i love my job and my clients? (and the fact that alot of them are friends.)

thats the dayton skyline.

I always encourge my seniors to bring a friend or family member along for their shoot to make it more comfortable for them, i can get more natural smiles and expressions. Since my brother and Phillip are buds i did part of their shoot together so here's the piano's again. Phillip is also a musician, as you probably figured out already.

Anathallo

there is a really neat venue pretty close to my new house. i don't have much time to go to shows, being a full time art student (oh the pain, i know :-) keeps me pretty busy, but i did make it to this show the other day and it was SO refreshing...

the human flight committee

it was a pleasant surprise that friends of mine from the beautiful state of new hampshire happened to be playing in tennessee when i was there. the human flight committee puts on one of the best shows around. and i wouldn't just say that. they really do. getting as close as i did was alittle risky, these guys never stop moving, they are one of my favorite bands to shoot because of it. it was quite refreshing to see and hear these boys play their music, and to hang out with them for a few hours. enjoy.

(oh and, if you are local, they are playing in dayton march 4th. come check it out.)

musical friends.

you might know that i am on a missions tour with Stand True ministries all summer.
a few nights before we got on the road, some great friends of mine from TN played a show in downtown Dayton.
it was a splendid show, fun to watch and photograph.
i love watching friends do a good job at what they love and fulfill dreams.
