Jody & Dan = Engaged

well hello!

i'm alive. its true.
even though i haven't blogged since january. oops.
i'm just gonna start from where i left off.
actually, these photos are from the same weekend as the photos from my last post.

I was in PA that weekend in january visiting some really good friends. I also have a really good friend from New Jersey which isn't far from where i was,
with me only being afew hours away, she and her fiance drove out to hang out with me for an evening. They are getting married in September, i'm super stoked to shoot their wedding (i have been even before they got engaged ;-) We had talked about possibly shooting some engagement photos for their save the date card that night, but apparently it wasn't enough of a priority to brave the bitter cold, so we let it go. On the way to dropping me off after dinner i saw a borders, knowing they both like books, i said "hey, turn around, i have an idea for your engagement photos!" Obviously i'm biased but these guys are so fun. We went around the store finding books that we thought would suite them well. They had some awesome faces. Irony might have been involved...
They always have awesome faces, but their facial expressions that went with this specifically.

Enjoy.

sam i am

i was in Pennsylvania last weekend hanging out with some good friends of mine.
little samuel is having his first birthday pretty soon and his mom wanted to get some photographs of him wearing his Dr. Seuss hat awhile i was around, he's having a sam i am birthday party. it was funny because he didn't want to have anything to do with the hat, but i got acouple cute ones of him interacting with it (we'd put it on him and than he'd throw it.) these are acouple of my favorites. he was totally hamming it up. he's definitely one fun little dude.
enjoy.

i loved his little lazy chillin' out slouch.
and if you didn't know, feet are my favorite.

this is my favorite one.

a glimpse

i've been working on processing the photographs from the wedding i shot last weekend. i haven't finished but i love these this sequence so much so i couldn't resist sharing them. after the ceremony i took Jeremy and Jenny outside to take some photographs of them as husband and wife, at some point, Jenny's father was walking down the sidewalk towards us so i ran out into the street and took these. they were chatting for awhile about the ceremony (it was sooo beautiful. i can't wait to post more photos and write about it.) they make me so happy.

jenny looks so pretty.

Sarah & Josh = Married

Photobucket

Sarah and Josh got married at Benham's Grove in Centerville in October. The weather was so lovely, though it was quite cold. I was wearing my jacket the whole time, but gorgeous Sarah was wearing this pretty dress and i didn't hear her complain once the whole time. She is amazing. We had alot of fun. If you didn't get to enjoy their engagement pictures, you can check them out here.
